Fun Friday: The Year I Was Born

Here’s a break from my usual freelance focused posts.

When I joined Blogging for Fun, there are weeks wherein we do focused posts together. Like on this Fun Friday, we were asked to recall something about the year that we were born.

I admit that I have found this activity to be a ‘walk in the memory lane’. So here are some of the details that I googled over the web and some that I got from my Mom.

Another One Bites the Dust

I was born in the year when this song (of Queen) became a part of  Top 100 Pop Singles in the U.S. I got this from Cash Box Magazine’s website and this song was the Top Song of that year. Now that explain’s why I like some other Queen’s songs like Bohemian Rhapsody, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and I Want to Break Free among others.

The Empire Strikes Back (aka Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back)

So that’s one of those movies I haven’t seen, well because I was just born when these movies were released. Want more titles? Here’s a list (from filmsite.org) so you can get a clue:

I’ll give you the last clue: I just turned 29 last May 29.
