What comes next to freelancers who are offline at times? Offline means when your site is down.
Loss of clients? Maybe, if you only have your blog as your main source of letting them know about your services. That’s one of my concerns as a part-time freelancer.
Good thing that was the least of my concerns. I have been working silently for some repeat clients for more than a year now and getting new ones will always be welcome as long as we agree on certain terms. ![]()
Luckily, I already placed some other channels to promote my services online. So even if this blog went offline days ago, I still received some inquiries through my email and messenger. Now, I am just waiting for their confirmation email to start doing that ‘quick project’ with them next week.
But on the other hand, I really feel the need to do something about this blog’s hosting. Sadly, I remember a lot of times when this blog went down even if I paid the annual fee almost a month ago. So before I do the same thing, (as my freelance blog will hit its first year next month, I might as well transfer this blog’s hosting somewhere else.
